Marcus Tjernlund is a writer, director, editor, and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. He is the winner of the 2022 and 2023 Grillo Award from the College of Cinema Studies & Moving Image Arts at the University of Colorado Boulder. His work has reached audiences domestically and internationally, producing films in the United States, Sweden, and South Korea. 

His films often explore the alienation and perversions of our interpersonal relationships as they are molded by the repressive socio-political forces that underpin them.
